Export and Import from Excel - love how easy it is. Remembering back to the days when I used to import and export from ACT (this was years before the online version, of course). It was always a big hassle and things were easily distorted.
The calendar views. The problem with most of the calendars that I use is that everything gets displayed on one calendar. So, on any day, I may have a couple of business meetings, a haircut, a lunch appointment, and a nephew's birthday reminder. That's not a bad way to look at a calendar to help me make sure I'm where I need to be during the day. But it's not a great way to look at things like new customers closed on a day, or all the prospective customers that created a trial account on each day of a month. So, the calendar views allow me to have about 50 specific calendars that I look at, instead of having everything jammed together on one calendar view.
I'm going to have to go with the Edit Multiple Records feature. When I was a teenager, I had a summer job that involved me typing in a five-digit hotel reservation code. Then I would update the reservation price by hitting Shift-F11, F1, and then Shift-F12 (a program had been written to update the reservation using these keys). That took about 15 seconds. And then I went to the next five-digit code, and then the next. I did this for an entire summer, one reservation at a time. If the company had just used TrackVia, I would've been able to do that entire job - a summer's worth of work - in minutes. It kind of hurts to think that, though - that was my worst ever summer job.
I have to say the navigation. Using the breadcrumbs to jump in and out of databases and views is so much easier and faster than using the typical forward and back keys. Also, I’m continually comparing and analyzing data so the ability to quickly switch from statistic mode..to a table.. to calendar view is great!
