Reporting schedule

Description
For any view you can create a reporting schedule that creates a recurring, automated email containing the view to be sent to a distribution list. The email can include an Excel attachment of the records in the view at the time of distribution.
Notes
TrackVia can automatically run and distribute views by email to any audience on any schedule. These reporting schedules allow TrackVia to become a powerful communication and coordination tool. For example, if you have a table that tracks your project team's deliverables, it might be useful to have a view called Tasks due this week be sent to the entire team on Mondays at 8:00 AM. Or, if you had a view called Tasks completed today, it might be useful to have that view sent to the team leader every weekday at 5 PM. Beyond the basic options, you can find advanced options by clicking [more schedule options] or [more email options].
Owners and shared views
When a view is run in TrackVia, the records that are included depend on the permissions of the person running the view. That is, each person viewing a view will only see records that they have permission to view. When TrackVia runs a distribution schedule automatically, it will use the permissions of the reporting schedule's owner – that is, the person who created it. The owner is shown at the top of the reporting schedule form. You can create a reporting schedule for any view you have permission to view, including your views and other people's shared views. However, if you create a reporting schedule for someone else's shared view, and that person later deletes the view or removes your permission to view it, your reporting schedule will be deleted. If a view shows up in the All Views list, all of its reporting schedules – whether owned by you or other people – will also be shown.
